Lead Pastor
Gary & Vonda Dotson
Rev. Gary and Vonda have been the pastors of Lone Grove Assembly of God since September 2014. They have been in full-time ministry for 20 years. They served as pastors in Muskogee for nearly 10 years before moving to Lone Grove.
Pastor and Vonda have been married for 31 years and have two beautiful daughters and a great son-in-law. Jamie and husband Hunter Johnson have been married for nearly 3 years, and they live in Sapulpa, OK. Josie is finishing her first year of college at NSU in Tahlequah, OK. She is active in Chi Alpha Ministries on campus. She is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Continuing her teaching experience that started in Muskogee, Vonda is a 3rd grade teacher at Plainview. She enjoys her role as a pastor's wife, is active in the Heart to Heart women's ministry, as well as, teaching Stars on Wednesday nights.
Pastor Gary's ministry vision has been and will always be reaching the lost and encouraging every believer to find their place in building God's kingdom. His pulpit ministry is full of passion and he strives to faithfully preach the truth of the word. He loves anything that involves outdoors, especially if it involves a bow and arrow!
Acts 13:37- For so the Lord has commanded us "I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth."
Church Secretary
Marla & David Stewart
Marla joined the staff as a secretary at Lone Grove Assembly of God in May 2014.
Marla and her husband, David, have been married since 1995 and they have been attending the church since 2009. They have three children and one grandson. She grew up in Healdton, Ok, where she attended the Assembly of God Church and began her history of following Christ. She has taught Sunday School, as well as leading youth with her Husband, David.
Marla and David are enjoying their lives as empty nesters along with spoiling their only grandson Blane. Marla is active as one of the leaders in Heart to Heart Women's Ministry and enjoys serving in all areas of the church.
